5 Showpad Alternatives for 2026, Compared Honestly

Last updated: July 2026

Most teams looking past Showpad are reacting to two things: the October 2025 Bigtincan merger, still settling under a new CEO, and an MCP server still stuck in private beta with about 4 undocumented capabilities. If you want one governed content home that your team and your AI tools can both use today, start with Masset at $500 a month with unlimited seats. Need a full suite with coaching and conversation intelligence? Showpad is still a real option.

Why teams look for a Showpad alternative

01 / REASON

The Bigtincan merger is still settling

Vector Capital completed the merger of Showpad and Bigtincan in October 2025, combining two enablement platforms under new CEO Apratim Purakayastha. The company is folding Bigtincan's GenieAI conversation intelligence into Showpad's content and coaching stack while the platform keeps running. If you are comparing options in 2026, you are comparing a platform that is rebuilding while it operates.

02 / REASON

AI access is still in private beta

Showpad's MCP server is in private beta with roughly 4 capabilities: search, summarize, filter, and list. Tool names are not published, and access requires Account Manager approval. If your team already works inside Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot, that gate is a cost today, not a someday feature.

03 / REASON

Per-seat pricing and a multi-month rollout

Showpad is priced per seat on annual contracts, and its implementation is a multi-month rollout rather than a same-week launch. For a team that mainly needs one content home people and AI tools can search, that is a heavier commitment than the problem requires.

04 / REASON

You may not need the full suite

Showpad bundles content management with training (Showpad Coach), buyer engagement rooms (Shared Spaces), and now GenieAI conversation intelligence. That is real value for a dedicated enablement team running seller certification programs. It is a lot of platform if your actual problem is that content is hard to find and your AI tools cannot see it.

The 5 alternatives, ranked

We put Masset first because we built it, and we say so. Every option below gets an honest paragraph, a fair best-for line, and pricing only where a documented figure exists.

01

Masset

Masset is the best home for your business content. Every deck, one-pager, case study, and video lives in one governed library that your whole team and every MCP-compatible AI tool can search. The MCP server ships 32 tools (20 reads, 12 writes), generally available, so Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, and Cursor can act on approved content with your permissions enforced. Training runs as daily quizzes in Slack and Microsoft Teams. Masset holds a SOC 2 report, never trains AI models on your data, and raw files never leave the platform. Onboarding takes hours, not a multi-month rollout.

It is no longer a nice to have. It is definitely a must have software for our tech stack.

Best for
Teams whose core problem is content findability, story consistency, and AI access, who do not want to buy a full coaching and conversation-intelligence suite to get there.
Pricing
$500/mo, unlimited seats, month-to-month. Enterprise tier above.
Not for
Masset is not for everyone. If your program depends on seller coaching and certification, conversation intelligence pulled from recorded calls, multi-stakeholder buyer deal rooms, or a full enablement suite, Showpad or a dedicated enablement platform will fit you better.
02

Seismic

Seismic is an enterprise sales enablement suite with content management, training, coaching, and analytics built for large sales organizations. Its MCP server is in Early Access with 18 tools (13 reads, 5 writes) covering generative search, LiveSend links, Digital Sales Rooms, meetings, and CRM context, but access runs through a Customer Success Manager request and a tenant admin has to enable each tool. Through the Microsoft 365 Copilot connector, only 3 of those 18 tools are exposed.

Honest caveat: Seismic is merging with Highspot. The February 12, 2026 agreement puts both under the Seismic brand, with Permira as controlling shareholder and Seismic CEO Rob Tarkoff leading the combined company. If you are already living through the Showpad-Bigtincan merger, Seismic trades one merger for another.

Best for
Large sales orgs that want a comparable enterprise suite to Showpad, with deeper CRM and Digital Sales Room tooling, and are comfortable navigating the same kind of merger uncertainty they are trying to leave.
Pricing
Third-party sources report $20,000 to $60,000 per year for mid-market and above $100,000 per year for enterprise, per-seat with annual or multi-year contracts.

03

Highspot

Highspot is an enterprise sales enablement platform with content, training, and coaching in one suite. Its MCP server was announced in July 2025 and has been listed in the OpenAI ChatGPT App Store since June 2026, with Claude and Microsoft Copilot support also claimed, but Highspot does not publish a tool-by-tool reference. Its Copilot connector is still labeled Preview, exposed as a single passthrough action throttled at 100 calls per 60 seconds.

Honest caveat: Highspot is merging into Seismic under the same February 12, 2026 agreement, with Permira as controlling shareholder. Moving from Showpad to Highspot means landing inside a different merger, not escaping one.

Best for
Enterprise sales orgs that want a mature content-plus-coaching suite and are comfortable with where the Seismic merger leads.
Pricing
Third-party sources report average contracts around $91,000 per year, per-seat with annual commitments.

04

Guru

Guru is knowledge management, not sales content management or coaching. It stores short cards and Q&A snippets, surfaces them in Slack, Teams, and the browser, and keeps them current with expert verification and review cycles. Its MCP server is genuinely good: 6 tools, generally available, covering search, AI answers, and card writes. It will not replace Showpad's content library, training, or conversation intelligence. But if your real problem is internal questions rather than decks and buyer engagement rooms, it may be all you need.

Best for
Teams whose pain is internal Q&A and policy lookup rather than sales content and coaching. Some teams run Guru next to a content home instead of a full enablement suite.
Pricing
Per-seat. Starts at $15 per user per month for the Business plan.

05

Google Drive / SharePoint

This is the do-nothing option, and it deserves an honest entry. You already pay for this storage, and for a small team with light content needs it can be enough. What you give up is most of what Showpad buyers came for: search stops at filenames and basic full text, governance is manual, analytics stop at view counts, and AI tools get almost nothing to ground on. Many teams keep Drive or SharePoint as storage and connect it as a source to a governed content layer on top.

Best for
Teams that only need storage and basic sharing, with no governance, coaching, analytics, or AI requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Masset a good Showpad alternative?

Masset is a strong Showpad alternative for teams whose core need is a findable content home that people and AI tools can both use, with 32 generally available MCP tools versus Showpad's roughly 4 in private beta. It costs $500 a month with unlimited seats and onboards in hours. It is not a training, coaching, or conversation-intelligence platform. If you need Showpad Coach, Shared Spaces, or GenieAI's meeting transcription, Showpad or a similar suite is still the better fit.

Does Showpad have an MCP server?

Yes, but it is limited. Showpad's MCP server is in private beta with roughly 4 capabilities (search, summarize, filter, list), tool names are undisclosed, and access requires Account Manager approval. Masset's MCP server is generally available with 32 tools (20 reads, 12 writes), open to any MCP-compatible client.

What happened with Showpad and Bigtincan?

Vector Capital acquired both companies and completed the merger in October 2025. The combined company operates under the Showpad brand with a new CEO, Apratim Purakayastha, and is integrating Bigtincan's GenieAI conversation intelligence into Showpad's content and coaching stack. Post-merger integration was still underway as of our last update.

How much do Showpad alternatives cost?

Showpad is priced per seat on annual contracts. Seismic runs $20,000 to $60,000 per year for mid-market and above $100,000 per year for enterprise, also per-seat and annual, and is merging with Highspot under Permira. Highspot averages around $91,000 per year by third-party estimates. Guru starts at $15 per user per month on its Business plan. Masset is $500 a month flat with unlimited seats, month-to-month, with an Enterprise tier above it.
