Eight updates, one place
We moved these product updates to once a week, so instead of a feature landing in your inbox every day, you get the whole batch every Wednesday, grouped and explained. This week there are eight, and they cluster into a few themes: seeing your library better, running it from your AI, getting the timing right for the people who use it, and a couple of nice extras.
See and move through your library better
Three updates make your library easier to look at and search.
- Improved Similar Asset Search. Similar asset search now finds likeness across multiple assets at once using clustering, not just one-to-one matches. And you can configure how much match weight matters in the search experience, so you can tune how strict or loose "similar" should be.
- The Modern layout is coming out of beta. Our new, cleaner layout is graduating. Over the coming weeks we will gradually move users onto it by default. If you hit any issues during the transition, reach out and we will take care of it.
- Automatic Table of Contents in Boards. Boards now build a Table of Contents automatically from the headers you have included, so long boards are easy to navigate. You can turn it on per board.
Run your library from your AI
Asset uploads through MCP now support external links. You can now create new assets in Masset from your AI using MCP by pointing at an external link, exactly the way you already can in the web app. It is one more thing your AI can do to build and maintain your library for you, not just read from it.
The right thing, at the right time
Two updates make sure Masset reaches your people when it should, wherever they are.
- Time zone support. Time zones are now configurable for both users and companies. A user without a set time zone inherits the company's by default. So no matter where someone lives, things like trainings and notifications arrive at the correct local time.
- Configurable training send time. You can now choose when Masset sends its daily training messages, so they land at the best moment for your company. Your user and company time zones are honored, so everyone gets it at the right hour.
Two more: expiration and referrals
Asset expiration dates. Admins and uploaders can now set an expiration date on an asset. This is the first step, and more expiration functionality is coming. If you have ideas for how you want it to work, reach out and tell us.
In-product referrals. Love Masset? You can now refer a friend directly from inside Masset and get a reward for it.
